What belt to you need on the 2L? is the the 1.6 or 2.0 belt?
or are they the same?
i also need to know for power steering

Best to get 2 litre one, i think they are the same though to be honest! |

i too think there the same cause the waterpump and pulley can be put on a 2.0 from 1.6. |

you need a fiesta belt. if you are ordering a 2.0 belt i will be the wrong one as mondeo 2.0's alternators are mounted at the back of the engine! just order a new standard fiesta one with your reg that will be fine enough. also best to order from ford as they would last longer! |

when jam and i did a conversion i got hold of an RS1800 alt belt with pas! or just get a fez Si belt  only belt thats you'd need from the 2.0 is iirc the cam belt, rest is all fez stuff, once the cam belt is done, i'd now treat it a 1.6 engine, ignore the fact its a 2.0(dont really but you get the way i'm going?) and just start putting bits on from a fez
