what as in to turbo charge the 1.6 what work are you planning on doing internally? this depends on what you can do on std internals and management you can run 4psi without killing it, i wouldn't use anything above a t2 for this as it would be pointless |

you'd be better off fitting the 2ltr mate, and then turbo that. cos a turbo'd 1.6 Si is gonna struggle to make N/A 2ltr power without changing heads etc. to turbo the 2ltr, ideally you'd use low comp pistons, but you can use a de-comp plate, erst exhaust manifold, you'll need the head re-tapping for this, then different management as the std stuff can't really cope with positive pressure.
