Evening all, Long story cut chort, I bought a new engine seeing as my old bottom end went, i have put the new engine in using the old manifolds and sensors etc, for some reason i have no fuel going into the engine. I have fuel pressure up to the fuel rail and i can hear the pump priming, but i when i turn the key, fuel does pump through to the combustion chamber, it ran just before i took the engine out. I'm running out of ideas now. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! |

Found out that i have no spark as well. I have tried a new crank sensor cos i heard that maybe the issue. It's got a Sigma SG20 immobiliser on it and that seems to be working ok. I just put a new engine and have made sure everything is all plugged in as per how it shoould be but whenever i go to start the car it has no spark or fuel going in. A guy i used t work with reckons i may have either ruined the Ignition module on the bulkhead or fried the ecu. Is this possible? |

hi alex, i have never had experience with an 8v 2i i's try the edis module as i think that also controls the firing on the 8v's, you tried another cps? not sure what else to suggest really, you 100% sure its not your imob? |
