hi there peeps, basically meilack and me and crew are building a mk 3.5 track car sleeper. Gonna remove the 1.1 engine and fit a 1.6 xr2i cvh but how do we get around the PATS system??? any help would be grateful cheers |

If you have a whole donor car, take the lot. Every last bit! Or if both have pats, take the locks, pats ring on the ignition and the pats module out and put them in. |

slight problem here lol a xr2i cvh has no pats system at all!!! aso more help needed here does the pats system go through the ecu ??? |

youd be best off geting a xr2i as a donor car and using the whole lot over including the full loom to get around PATS. done it once before, does take a bit of time and a lot of patience and swearing lol |

just trying to source one cheap  cars getting there now, welded the holes up and matt blacked over them, so it looks ratty, tinted the rear lights red, glued the puma gear knob in so it stays the right way round
