Ok, who else is using a stainless water rail from fusion fabrication ?

Iam having problems with the hose that connects from the water rail to the thermostat. The original water rail had like a built in hose but the stainless one doesnt. i've used a part of my original water hose (replaced them with samcos) to connect the two together but the angles arnt quite right and this is the 2nd one now thats split now. what are you using to connect the two together ?

my water rail rotted away so i made one out of some copper pipe,
but i had a similar problem as you with the piece of pipe that connects to the stat housing as it has like a 3/4" pipe coming off it, the pipe i used fitted the small piece of hose that joins the water pump and is about 5/8th so i had to squeeze a piece of 3/4 hose on it to fit the stat end which caused endless problems, and leaked,
soooo i went to b&q and bought a push on down sizer from something like 3/4" to 5/8th then also stuck a 90degree bend on it and used a small piece of hose the right size to join it,
it isnt pretty cause it was a get me back on the road quick job but it works, i'll make a pretty V2 when i get a lot of spare time,

ive seen some of them stainless water rail pipes most of them are the same diameter all the way through and don't really fit to well cause there missing a crucial bend at the stat end. i haven't seen a fusion fabrication one thou

Matt ive got mine in....had it in for months, but what did you use to connect the water rail to the thermostat ?

I was using oe hoses, so just cut off the metal coupling and pulled it on the rail and used a hose clip.
