Ok so for a while now it has looked like by bonnet hasnt been properly shut when it has....it always seemed as if the left side (looking from the front) was higher than the right. So today i decided i would be inspector morse and investigate. opened the bonnet and took off my grill and then pandora's box has opened! the left hand headlight has snapped away from the metal plate that it is attached to behind the grill that the grill is then hooked onto...therefore making the light seem more set back that the right. so i took out the headlight, took all the little silver metal hooks off because i assumed you would be able to take off the black back so i would just need to replace that. but after a while of struggling i realised that it probably wont come off and will have to replace the whole headlight which can be expensive! anyone know were i can get a headlight or even know how to take the back plate off so i can just replace that? and i think i am going to get myself a new grill, the chrome zetec s one with no badge and then get a new badge for the back! any ideas? cheers in advance! |
