it shouldnt have passed MOT if the catch on full lock. mine catch on any more than 1 1/2 turns of the wheel. Hence why its back to steelies everytime it comesround for MOT. Ford do a lock restrictor kit, but it's expensive, you can apparently restrict it by putting jubilee clips on the rack JJ |

Try some spacers on you wheels first, if that doesnt work, then as JD said, limit the steering rack ![]() |

Thanks guys It did it with the original steel wheels just the same, although they were a different size (145/50/14 or something like that). I'll try putting spacers on and if that doesn't work then I'll look at the rack. |

Does anybody know any more about the restrictor from Ford? I've been told with spacers the tyre will catch the back of the arch, not sure if thats right though. |
