Hi there i was wonder what drive shafts will i need to use a s2 escort rs turbo gearbox with lsd? also is the gear linkage all the same etc if not what do i need? and finally will i be able to use the same gearbox mounts as are on my 1.6 box??

its a straighrt swap you dont need different shafts or linkage

if you put one on let me know how good it is, when i get the 2litre i was thinkin about keeping the 1.6box for acceleration but i have thought about whether the lsd is worth goin for

S2 ERST box is a great upgrade for a 2.0 si.

i think my van needs an lsd because one wheel is always getting stuck in the mud when i pull over on grass where the other wheel on the road wont get any power

ive got escort rs turbo s2 gearbox on my si and it is awesome, i highly recommend it

I was after one but never actually got round to it, if you want fun on the other side of things get a 1.1 box.

1.1 Box isnt as fun as it sounds.

Gears are fairly long TBH
