After fitting new struts and springs found that one side has more thread sticking out than the other :hmm: and yes its fully tightened

the one in top picture doesnt look like its down enough, mine have always looked like the bottom one, would think bush not seated properly, have you taken the nuts off again and the top plate to have a look?

took the nuts off again and top plate today everything looked fine and took other side off to compare it no difference apart from thread

when you took the tops off was the length of thread above the spring nut the same on both sides?
