Alrite Mike! I lowered my si by 35mm last year. Bought a brand new set of spax lowering springs which cost £90 which is the going rate.

It is completely fine to use second hand ones mate, and cheaper too. Just make sure there are no hairline cracks in them or anything.

Spax are one of the best in terms of comfort versus handling but its much of a muchness really mate, they are all pretty much the same. :thumbsup:

If you want quality springs, go for Eibach or Avo springs :thumbsup:

that's my 2p's worth.

I would say eibach are the best quality, but I also agree with Dave that spax offer excellent value.

Spax and G-max are supposedly different, but I've heard off a reliable source that they are both made in the same factory abroad and just named differently once they are over here :thumbsup:

I heat a lot of bad things about g-max but not many about spax so not sure on that.

With 14's a 50mm drop will be great.
