the white primer might act ok as a base coat, you could always try a coat of lacquer and see how it looks, if not and you like the look of white why not just paint gloss white not black?
unless your like me and got a load of cheep black spray cans from poundland :lol: just sprayed my spare, spare set of wheels with them and look ok but not the deepest gloss.

Same as my old wheels which are sitting in the garage lol.

Doesnt look too bad with the poundland stuff, i used that to spray my gearbox cradle, actually came out ok!

And yeah, paint the wheels white, not just lacquer over the primer lol lol
