Post subject:  Cooling system problem
Driving back home the other day steam started bellowing out from around the bonnet. I pulled over to see, and the water hose (a T - pipe) from the expansion tank to radiator was leaking and spraying onto the manifold. :(

Let it cool down, and when I started it later it started making a squeeking noise a bit like a dodgy alternator belt. I have had to top the tank up since. The pipes aren’t all getting hot and the fans not switching on.

Could it be the pump, and has anybody had to replace it?

Is it leaking water from the hose? If so sounds like the lower radiator hose. Prone to perishing, go down to Fords and get a new one. Think they're £28 or something. If the pumps packed up it normally sprays the water out the bonnet. Think i paid about £100 to have a new one fitted. Also led to the demise of my engine :(
