Post subject: | Help to identify connector plugs on 16v Si engine loom |
Can anyone help me identify the plugs on the Si 16v engine loom. The main wire from the ECU splits into 4 seperate bundles of wires with connector plugs on the end. Im particularly trying to locate the thermonstat temp sensor plug. Already got the Coil pack and MAF plugs sorted hence they are not in the pics. These 2 are the closest to the ECU and are short wires, what are they for? ![]() There are 2 of these, they are long wires and i think the one wrapped in corrogated plastic will be the Crnak shaft sensor. Is that correct and what is the other for. Also what is the small wire in the pic with the L-shaped black cover on the end? ![]() What are these 4 for? ![]() Any help much appreciated. |

Im putting the loom into a 2.0l converted Mk1 Fiesta so dont have any original stuff to match the loom to. Once i know what each plug is supposed to be then i can disregard what i dont need. |

I didnt remove it myself so wasnt able to label it first so working blind. I havnt found the lamba sensor wire yet but got a sensor on the way from a forum user so should be able to match up the plug for that one. |

i haven't worked on an Si look for a while so trying to rack my brains ![]() the lambda wire will be one of the longest wires on the loom, heads off towards the drivers side of the car ![]() |

Even if someone could have a quick look under the bonnet of their SI, the plugs that i need are the ECU temp(top of the thermonstat), Crank shaft sensor on front of the engine (has it got corrogated plastic on it or not?), lambda sensor. |
