hi just wondering if a 1.1 hcs from a mk3 fiesta will fit into a mk4 i know the engine mountings are different but will the mk4 engine mount go onto the mk3 hcs engine??? thanks. |

i might be totally wrong but i dont think it will, they are 2 totally different engines so will have the mounts and pointing points in different places the mk4 a 1.25? |

no its a 1.1 rattle tattle style engine like in the 1.1 fiesta mk3 chaindriven push rod engine only difference i can see is the mk3 has a 3 bolts on the engine mount to the engine from what i can rember and the mk4 only has 1 |

its a enduro engine looks the same but has efi fuel injection |

You sure its not a 1.3 Fiesta as there was one of those in the Mk4 using the older engine. Out of interest why would you want to put an old 1.1 engine in? |

a mate has a mk4 fiesta headgaskit has gone and pistons knocking and i still have the engine out of my mk3 lx |
