Hi there, iv just put a 2ltr engine in my Si. i put air filter on it so where the pipe from the cam cover went on the air box iv put a little filter. my problem is its throwin oil out the filter! how can i stop this from happening? also i am going to be looking into putting a desial gearbox on it. what clutch would i be able to run it is as i want to uprate the clutch aswell. Standard clutch is fine. It's an oil breather pipe. Oil will come out of it. |

but i want to uprate it as it slips abit on take offs. and ok thanks for that. do you think its worth makin a catch tank for it as i dont want it goin all over my gearbox Grant |

im running a breather filter with no problems, which way is it pointing? could be you engine is breathing a lot, are all the breather pipes clear and the one into the inlet manifold? As for clutch's i previously fitted 2 cheap ebay clutches and ripped the centre out of them within 500 miles, since then fitted a Helix uprated performance clutch, but at £300 was expensive, for road use though would think there would be ones about for £100. if you look at link below can see my breather filter, its mounted vertically so any oil drains back into the cam cover. |
