can anyone explain this? i got an si , ive done the usual mondeo 2.0 coversion, it worked fine for a month or so, now between 2-3000 rpm the engine holds back quite badly then kicks back in at just over 3000, feels like turbo lag on a naturally aspirated engine :S . also sometimes after revving the engine it doesnt settle properly it sometimes stalls. an every now an then it does the 'lexus syndrome' revving then nearly stalling on tickover till it eventually stalls and after restarting runs ok. ive just changed the lambda sensor to try an resolve this but no such luck, im yet to check the maf but its fairly new anyway. any ideas???? cheers!! |

Try unplugging the MAF and see how it runs, if it seems to be better then clean it out. I will add don't just leave it unplugged as it will start drinking petrol. You could try resetting the ECU aswell. |
