So i was fitting escort alloys to my old si to sell, turns out they weren't right for the car but I'm not very experienced over tightened some nuts and now two studs have snapped and one threaded. So I need to get them out and put some new ones on. Is it a case of taking the hub off and removing them? I tried
Some grips but wasn't sucessful.
Pictures would help as well if you can.
Cheers

Give them a few taps with a hammer mate. They pop out the back. You can put them back in with a hammer but I dont like doing it like that.I pressed them in with a hydrolic press.

use a soft faced mallet for putting them back in (copper is ideal). or a brass drift with a steel hammer. as has been said normal hammer and drift to get the funked ones out. disc and calliper off will make things easier but not essential, the reason you cant shift them with mole grips is the shank of the stud is grooved to give it a better grip in the hub.
