o rite thanks and then i can up rate cams bore it out to a 1.7 and super chip it? is it posible to get it over 200BHP? with 2 grand? |

200bhp  You can do. Pistons, rods, headwork, bigger turbo and intercooler and it would be 200bhp but why? Your car + £2k would get you something quicker. I don't think CVHs make their typical factory figures anymore so you're trying to tune an old knackered engine sadly.

i see what u sayin but its just all the time and money i have spend on it and i love the car its small and fun as long as my 2k gets it to 200bhp then its all good cuz that should be fast

yes as ford fair proved scott, all the cvh turbo ERSTs and FRST's were slow and shit with their knackered old engines

You no i got the xr2i engine fitted the one i got rebuilt? well i want to spend 2k on the engine now and just want it over 200bhp Do you no what the highest bhp you can get out of the engine? |

depends on your pockets there is a 320bhp 1.6 cvh rollling around, i posted the spec in a debate with zetec herb

just remember 320bhp is not a daily car as it won't be reliable. 200bhp should be fine
