if its a sealed viper filter would think the flexi hose a bit long, would be better with the silicon hose angle from the throttle body - MAF - Viper can between engine and battery or bit further forward and then the cold air flexi hose feeding the filter with cold air from the valance area, only pic i can find at mo. |

hmm its weird because it gives out very good performance compared to before, better throttle response and quicker accelaration and mid range speed and noise has improved as well but have probably fitted it wrong its an odd one lol |

Is there another pipe after the enclosed filter? you normally route it to a foglight and replace it with the Si's, create a hole or route it under the bonnet. Though if you're intake after the viper is where you fog light is, your car is low and you live in a very dodgy area when it rains and there's lot of puddles and what not, try investing in a Air Bypass Valve as well. |

hi guys thanks for the help ive found out what the problem is ive put the cold air feed pipe where the standard hose pipe should be and the cold air feed pipe needs to go at the other end of the viper kit only thing is is that im not sure where i should lead the cold air feed pipe to? |

i was wondering if i cleaned my standard hose pipe out will it make much difference in performance if it has been cleaned? |

It won't do any harm to clean it, might aswell if you have got the chance. |
