Any tips on how I can get the fezzy through on the emissions part of the MOT? It failed on CO levels,not too bad but I don't think he warmed it up enough,if I take it for a good old rag,could that help? also is there any fuel additives that could help.thanks

what type fiesta is it? did MoT'er say how much it failed by? if a lot could be CAT gone |

Its a mark 4 1.3 hcs engined beast...not!! Its CO level was 0.69% but shoulda been 0.30% but at second idle it was 0.63% so it shows it was going down as its getting warmer,the test station is less than a mile away so It was no way warm enough and by the looks of it he put it straight onto the emissions machine. it goes in for retest today at 4 so am gonna get it red hot and bob it down,i might slip a tenner his way too

Idle it abit before you leave then drive it there about 1k off the redline. |
