Post subject:  engine dies in reverse MAF or lambda??

HI, wright just so you know i dont have a lambda sensor fitted at the moment (i broke mine fitting new cat) got 1 in the post now, and at the same time i fitted my new 2.0L MAF (with the 1.6 sensor on) so i cant narrow it down to one of the two as it has only came on since i had them done and im guessing a new cat couldnt really make an die cut out.
Well it only ever occurs when im on my sloped drive reversing down and the engine will start to idle up and down then just gently cut out (stall 'jerk') and seems weird how it only does it in reverse and sometimes if i stop at a junction i will get the up and down idle but never cuts out, has anyone ever had this and what would you put this down to a MAF or lambda??
hope you guys can help thanks
