Is it possible to use a Fiesta RS Turbo standard radiator in a MK3 Fiesta Si (Zetec Engine) ? Or can you get uprated alloy rads like the ones available for the FRST ? |

FRST is smaller isn't it? If you buy a new rad these days it will more than likely be an ally one as copper is damn expensive these days! |

the rs rad is a lot smaller that the si one id stick with the si one unless you want to go expensive and have some thing like a airtech rad |

i had to mod the front pannel a little to get mine to fit and as for mountings i chopped up the old si rad so i could use the original plastic mounts as it dont come with any i cant see why the old si hoses cant fit but you may have to mod one hose unless the airtech rad hose holes you shown are in the same place as the si hose holes edit going on the pictures your rad is only 5 mm thicker than mine and its still the same size iv got the black pro one |

personaly id go for a uprated si one if you cant find one to buy, if you go to any person that restores the rads and just tell them to put a thicker core in ![]() |

Heres the difference between the 2 rads. I would need to get full dimensions for the airtech one. Lower pipe on the airtech is angled different and on the standard si one, theres a hole on the side for some sort of temp sensor i guess. ![]() ![]() |
