Hi can anybody help me , my temp gauge is so erratic one second its cold the next its up at the N on norm and my fan kicks in randolmly , it does it like once an hour and then settles down at the normal running temp |

just had the same probem although mine was constanly going up, then hour later back down then up etc. u will prob find ure petrol consumption increasing soon, what u need is a new temperature gauge sender there only 15 quid from ford and easy to fit, thatl sort it |

where is the temp guage sensor / sender on the block ? or is it part of the thermostat (forgive me for not looking) |

Its the one on the front, I changed the top one and the temp gaugeis still not functioning correctly. Am changing the other this weekend so will let you know next week. |
