hi all...ive got a problem with my 1.6 16v si it was misfiring so got new plugs and noticed that cylinder 4 spark plug had build up on it and now its doing it again with the new plugs and i think its got the build up on number 4 cylinders plug again...i'll get a pic up if that helps |

Oh, and swap a plug with the one that's causing the problem. Clean the one that's covered in "ash" (bit of fine sandpaper), and change it. If the problem still happens in the same cylinder but doesn't follow the spark plug, check the leads are connected properly and the metal connector inside isn't bent out of shape. Make sure when you put it on the plug, you get the little "click" to ensure it's on properly. Follow this lead back to your coil and make sure it's connected there properly too. Just check all the obvious things first... |

tried another set of plugs still doing it...gonna try a difrent set of leads...hopefuly its somethink simple and not serious as i cant aford to rebuild the engine in the fez aswell as my rs engine ive got in a ka lol |
