iirc in order to get to the head gasket you'll need to remove the cam's and undo the head bolts, disconnect all the piping to the head/inlet/thermostat
simple as that i think
then remove the head
sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong

my bro has took the head off so we can see the cams and we took all the belts off as we just done the water pump but now we found water goin into the sump so we think its the head gasket ive looked in the haynes manuel but it doesnt say much about the head gasket so can any 1 shed any light on this??? |

You say your brother took the "head" off so you can see the cams? Well, he's only took the cam cover off then, the head is still attached. |
