hi i have a major problem i was driving my si the other day and i just lost all power you can here a blowing noise from the engine and it sounds like its got a big air filter even when im running the stock filter. i have changed plugg's, leads, filter. i have been told so meny things but im confused because evryone saying the problem is difrent things :lol:
these are the things ive been told:

blocked cat ??
manifold to down pipe o ring??
head gasket??
broken piston rings??
blocked injectors??
intake blockage??

anyone else got any ideas??

well if there is a blowing, it will probs be somewhere on the exhaust.. go start it, place your hand down and around the exhaust and you will probs feel air coming out - or see it.

make sure ur cat int blocked cos thats wot mine was ...sounded like it was blowing but quiet at the rear :thumbsup:

problem solved!!! i disconnected the exhaust from the down pipe and it runns fine so de-cat here we come :lol:

Just out of interest do we really need to fit that O ring in the exhaust downpipe? Looks pointless lol
