ive just been to test drive my si after dropping the 1.8 in, drives fine but the temp gauge wont register, any ideas what could cause this? |

Nope, coolant fan is separate switch on side of rad. |

nice one cheers for that... ive swapped both sensors over now. while idling the fan doesnt kick in much before the 3/4 mark, if not slightly higher, then it only stays on for 5 seconds! surely that cant be right? |

i think that sounds about right too me, but then again i haven't heard a fiesta fan kick in for a while   mine never use to stay on for long either, my cossie one stays on for an age, not soo good!

sounds like the one on my rst, that kicked in at 2/3rd's but stayed on a good 45 seconds
