if anyone can help i have just brought a 3 door si 1.6 and a set of escort gti alloys 15s with 195 45 15 tyres on ,how low can i got on just lowering springs, or am i going to have to buy coilovers i cannot have any rubbing issues as i hammer the living daylights out of most of my cars round corners and would like tyres to last lol. any advice plus i also have just put xr2i arches and skirts on will these contribute to rubbing issues cheers ...joey

i has 15" GTi alloys on my Si with iirc 195/45/15 tyres

i had a stage where i was as low as 60 with no rubbing only slight rubbing on full lock
