not entirely sure what it could be, was going to say a bad earth but i dont think its that ![]() ![]() but again i'm not sure if that would cause the dash lights not to come on,i always thought the PATS system only cut spark and the fuel pump hopefully someone with technical that me will be able to help ![]() ![]() |

Dumb question but when you put battery back on you did put all the connection on the earth side and on the positive side :S |

gotta be a wiring fault somewhere. you say the Pats is 'Hanging out of the dash' now it's a month since i've been in a fiesta but IIRC mine wasn't 'hanging out of the dash' ![]() have you connected the earth wire from chassis to battery? have you definately connected all positive cables? if it was Pats stopping it from going the red LED in clock would display. |

The car only came with only one key and it wasn't the red key so i got the pats box out to change the lock's and pats one from a scrapped car with the red if that make sence but it allways started, then i left it as i was trying to find the hole set left it over the winter and now won't start or any light's on the dash the only thing that work and the c/locking and the clock but no red LED on the clock and the battery is just under 12v |

no red LED tends to mean no PATS. either that or it's had the clock changed, but IIRC it's a different plug between PATS/no PATS clocks. isn't there a main relay in the fuse box, a big green one springs to mind. i'm more certain to it being an Earth fault. |
