		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />Hi guys,<br /><br />I have a 95 SI 1.6, with no modifications which has done in the region of 120,000 miles. MOT'd in September, spent about £400, including blanking plates for the recently deceased EGR and a new Exhaust system (middle and back box).<br /><br />As of today, the temperature gauge hits the red for no apparent reason. I have checked the water, which is topped up. The fan is kicking in when you would expect it to, but not too related to the temperature gauge. The gauge bounces about like nothing I have ever seen.<br /><br />Also,<br /><br />The oil is reading high after being drained and filled properly about a month ago, however there are no streaks so I don't suspect water is getting in.<br /><br />Any suggestions?

Will look again later.<br /><br />The temperature sensor has only started playing up recently, so im thinking it may be due to the extreme cold weather we have had. If not, it shouldn't be too big a deal.
