		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />Hi long time no post but....<br /><br />My gearbox is dead <img src="./images/smilies/icon_frown.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><br /><br />Wondering if a non si gearbox will be ok for a 1.6, ie one taken from a 1.1, 1.3 etc as i've no idea whats available locally.<br /><br />I'm relatively sure they'll fit, but will there be any differences in ratios, and could they handle the massive 90 bhp (lol) of the 1.6 Zetec.<br /><br />Cheers!

		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />Yup the gearbox will fit but the ratios on the smaller engined boxes will give you a quicker 0-60 and less top speed.Probably going to lower your MPG aswell.<br /><br />I have a 1.1 gearbox here if you need it.Im based in Boston Lincolnshire.

		<td colspan="2"><hr class="sep" />I did have fun with a 2.0 with a 1.1 gear box, it was so quick off the line it was scary.<br /><br />It did top out not much over 105mph, but past that you can loose your license so why bother?
