Post subject:  Electrical Problems

I have done a search and from both the results and my experience I am thinking that the wiper stalks are to blame. When the lights are turned on to sidelights, the left hand indicator turns on constantly (i.e. not flashing) and the sidelight does not illuminate. When the lights are put on dipped the indicator stays on, the headlight remains off and the dash says the Main beam is on when it is not. When the indicator is then put on the front indicator flashes at the exact opposite time to the other 2. The other thing that went through my mind was fuse box.

The car is a 1995 1.4 Si. It is my Brother in Laws car and he is really pleased with it so we are really keen to get this problem resolved. I have some XR2i inlet manifolds as well do these offer any performance increases?

Cheers in advance

Matt
