Getting an occasional crunch while going from 2nd to 3rd
mole did you have this?
any ideas?

Not even worth your time worrying about what it could be, take it back to your Ford dealership ASAP. your new car under warranty, their fault. |

yeah, dodgy bastuids, ford eh?  its on 700 miles, so the 1000 mile service is soon, so i will two birds with one stone, and mention it then and say oi! sort it out!

I bet they will put a new gearbox on it! My mates mum had a slight problem with her gearbox, they just replaced it, so she got a new one under warrenty. The sooner you get onto them, the better

you using the thing called a clutch when putting it into 2nd/3rd?   take it back to ford get them to sort it

very funny  yes i am and if you change gear slowly it don't mind, but you can change gear as fast as you like in any other gear

It is the synchro hub on third that has failed so it is a return to ford and new box fitting. |
