Hello, basically i have just fitted my new gearbox, which came with a release bearing that was different to my original one - the diameter of the inside was bigger, and the bit that touches the clutch was different (see pics).
So now because the newer bearing compared to my original one hasnt got the little lip on it, its effectivly lost 5mm or so which is alot, so the clutch pedal at the moment is really high - as if the clutch was really worn and i need to adjust it some how so it sits level with the other pedals like it used to. It does have an auto adjuster ratchet on it like 99% of fiesta's do, which i would have thought would make it sit lower - but because of the 5mm or so that its lots, its not going to.
How do you go about adjusting the cable/pedal to make it sit right again.
The release bearing nearest to the camera is the new one i got with a clutch kit, the one furthest away is the one that came with the new gearbox, you can see the little lip bit on the brand new one thats not on the one that came with the new gearbox.
Thanks, Danny.
