Hey guys its been a while since posting here,
have had trouble with my rs1800 lump since the cam belt broke some time ago, many people suggested that i may have slightly damaged a couple of valves. car runs rich and has low compressions on pistons 1 and 3 and realy stinks of petrol (no fuel leaks found ) all this is mentioned in another thread somewhere..

i bought an rs1800 head off of sisisisi (although its been over a month and it still hasn't arrived
)my current injector rail is fitted with an FSE boost valve adaptor to the fuel pressure regulator hole (the old return pipe is blocked off), however i want to remove this sell it and go back to standard fuel pressure regulation, however i cant seem to get the old fuel pressure regulator back in the hole it just pisses out fuel everywhere so i am stuck with the fse thing untill i get another injector rail with the ford fuel pressure regulator intact, i was just wondering if an injector rail off a 1.6 fsi or escort engine would be the same as the rs1800 i'm wondering if the injectors are the same size and if i can get away with grabbing one from the breakers yard and doing a straight swap (well putting the rs1800 injectors in as well) when i finally get the head and swap it over.
does anyone know if all zetec fuel rails are the same?? thanks in advance
