hey,

the water pump has gone on my 2.0, so basically i want it all changed, pump and headgasket to be safe... ive been quoted £120 for labour, plus then the parts on top come to about £80, so £200 finished... recon this is a good price?

very good price. although for the extra few pounds it'd cost i'd get the head skimmed and a focus rs steel gasket put in for reliability

im supplying all the parts :thumbsup: i know what stuff to get...

headgasket kit - £58 with bolts
new cambelt - £19 (will be my 3rd one this year)
new auxbelt - £12
waterpump - £30ish

with £120 labour on top.

im not gonna get my head skimmed as my gasket hasnt actually gone (would love too but i havent got the cash :| )... what benefits is there with the rs focus steel one.. it a straight fit?

straight fit. it's a multi layer steel gasket. much more reliable then cork ones.
also IIRC it only cost me £20 to get my head skimmed a while back
