Hi Guys

Need some urgent help!

Was driving the car on Saturday, just fitted the new break disks and pads, and was on my way to my mates, turned the corner to his house and the car just died on me, power went and the car just rolled to a stop! Tried to start the car again but all it did was gurgle at about 1000rpm then backfire and just do nothing!!

Called the RAC which were brill and got to me in about 20mins! tried to start the car and the same thing happened again, checked all of the plugs, the leads, the injectors all fine and working how they should be!

The RAC guy said it might be one of two things, either the fuel pump or dirty fuel.

Can anybody shed some light on this? or point me to somewhere i might be able to get an answer PLEASE!!!!!!

works fine now - saved me so much! i owe you one big mate!

still a bit lumpy at the min tho so will put a new lot of petrol in it in the morning and see how it does!
