The gearchange on the 3i is becoming a PITA at times  I was going to do a gearbx oil change, but i am aware there is no drain plug on the BC box, and was wondering what would be the best way to change it (take out drive shaft and jack it up so its at an angle?) and whether it would make the change better with new oil in the box? Service time in a couple of thousand i reckon, i did it at 92500, and they recomend every 7.5k oil change

i'd say take a drive shaft out the passengers side, under the gearbox cradle( and rear engine mount?) if you have one, lower the engine via a crane/jack to empty it, i think that will work  other than that i'm not too sure as i've never done it before

| thanks, i just want it to be semi smooth, i know the bc will never be amazing but it can be so

jamie and i refilled his box on sat, it wasn't too hard to do, but when the box was out we just tipped it over and emptied it  job jobbed
