Okay theres not much of a prize, but basically, There is a thin pipe that runs over the left hand side of the rocker cover (as you look at it) think its part of the PAS system, it has a sensor attatched. The wire from the back of this sensor / plug / magic box has snapped off :( From what i can tell it doesnt make any difference to how the car run? Anybody know what it does?

It basicaly advances the ignition when the engines at idle and you are turning the wheels to stop it stalling.

It is not at all critical. easy fix though :)
