right i think its the alternator whats gone but could do with a second opinion from u guys whats happening is i left the fezz standing for a couple of weeks its going in this week for throttle bodies conversion now i though cus it was standing its just drained the battery but i have jumped it of my escort took it for a run and still the same its going to turn over but then its starts clicking so i jump- started it again fired again and then left it runnning 15 minutes still the same turn over slowly then started clicking the battery is flat so is it the alternator thats the problem or could there be something else would appreciate your help guys |

no m8 from motormania im having the alternator tested tomorow if thats fine i will get the battery replaced but it seems odd jsut aftertwo weeks of happening |

I had this with a brand new Lucas battery, a cell had collapsed so was draining all the power in the other cells, only found it out after spending hours checking feeds and relays etc. ![]() Take it back and get it replaced. |

ive had the alternator tested and its fine so im going to ahve to look elswhere |

problem solved was a bad earth on the alternator due to corrsion ![]() |
