Sounds fine to me.

Ther fan kicks in it dosen't it. Providing it dosen't go into the red to oftern you'll be fine, but you can wire in a switch to the fan, so you can turn it on when your stitting in traffic, only a 2 min job to do! :)

mine sits in the middle of O and R but if I do some high rev driving in 3rd gear flooring it, eventually the needle hovers around the N mark. when cruising the temp needle goes back to between O and R.
is this normal? I though needle should be between O and R all the time when driving even on track?

Mega bump.

But of its within the NORM than don't worry about it.

where does your guage sit during hard driving? is it in the middle or does it rise up when e.g flooring it in 3rd gear on motorway?
