Post subject: | Identifying wiring?? |
Hello Does anybody know for the rear speaker wires which is positive and which is negative, can't remember the colours off the top of my head but I think one is yellow with a red stripe. Haynes manual doesn't say. If not I have a volt meter can I work it out from there? Also does it make a difference for speakers if I have them the wrong way round? Cheers |

i dont think they work if wrong way around do they? ive always just taken my head unit out and followed it from that. if you know which colours negative on you ISO loom then where it joins to the fez loom you can see which is which. did that make sense? failing that halford do some wires that bridge the gap without cutting anything. im sure reds positive and yellows negative. ![]() |

Cheers, the headunit is already in Im changing the rear speakers in the boot, and don't really want to take out the headunit as it was a grind to fit in the firstplace!! I've tried the speakers in both ways and it seems to make no difference..... |

I found that they work both ways, but one way is a much better quality sound. Unless that was just mine, but it definately made a difference! |
