Right, Got my Pioneer headunit P-6660R or something and it works pukka. No complaints. I have 4 (Well 3 one dnt work) sony 17cm speakers and for now: SPLX Sub and Amp (sub in a non ported box) i just can't get it set up to sound amazing like i want (am i being to fussy) I either have to much bass, not enough, to much treble or not enough The headunit has alot of settings to adjust do i just perserve? (sp) |

From my experience of owning pioneer radios I found the best method is: Change the preset to flat and loud off. Then on your eq turn bass all the way up, mid a couple up and the hi around 0. If you find you want more base make sure you gain is up on you sub, if this doesn't sort it, try the first loud setting (low) then reduce the base down in the eq slightly. also set you low pass and high pass to 125hz. I am assuming all pioneers have a similar setup as my last to have had the same pretty much. |
