hiya guys im asking this for my dad..i thought id see you guys as the car is a fiesta...just not an si :look:
its an r reg 98 zetec 1.4 ghia.
the car recently had an mot, passed but with an advisory for front anti roll bar bushes.."deteriating,but not enough to warrant failure"
my dad went and purchased a set of ARBs today and was wondering...how hard are they to fit???
together we make a competent mechanic to carry out average repairs
ive had a look and to me it looks as tho you unbolt the clamp/bracket holding the ARBs down, unbolt the droplink and slide off old, slide on new
and fasten everything back up... :?
would i be correct ? or is this a garage job??
cheers for your input!! ;)

Anti-roll bar bushes are easy to do, but can be fiddly depending on the car. For instance, I done my mates Zetec S ones on the front, and the passenger side one was a pain in the ass without dropping the whole lower arm, as it sat pretty much right against the passenger side footwell.

I done the Pulsar not long ago, and that was a piece of piss as the anti-roll bar ran right underneath the car so was easy to access.

I'd say you can do it easily, but it might be fiddly. :)
