Thanks for all your help guys i will get it back on the ramps and just check it all over again and will keep you updated just brought a clutch so all should be good thanks again guys

I reckon it'll be your gearbox mount. Support the gearbox with a trolley jack and take the cradle off and inspect the gearbox mount! Easy job to check and do

i agree with des i bet it could be the rear gearbox mount if u reverse the car then that would expalin why its hitting the anti rollbar if it was the front gearbox mount that would knacker up the exhaust eventually they may look fine but really theres no way of checking them put acrobar in between the gearbox and cradle then u will see if therei s any movement |
