When i was taking off my front Si Spats, all 4 bolts snapped on both sides where the bolts were so old and rusty and i was trying to take the nut off. Any idea how i get them back on. I was thinking of drilling new bolts through the outside then putting some filler over them to plug the visible holes ?

Any easier ideas that doesnt include filler ?

Bond them on, a lot of people do it with RS/XR arches (mine has been too) so it shouldn't be a problem doing it with the spats.

Can't remember the product name but I am sure someone else will tell you.

Yeah I had my spats bonded back on when i had my wing replaced, better anyway because at least then you know its sealed and the rot aint gonna get behind. Can't remember exactly what was used on mine tho sorry. :(

I bought some Unibond Black Silicone Sealant for ?7.50. I'll try that and see how well that holds.

Done mine and theyve stuck like glue. Tried pulling them and it moves the wing, been out in it and there still on there. :)

Unibond Black Silicone Sileant from Focus, ?7.50 for a tube that fits in one of those guns. Water proof, flexable and for use outdoors.

When i done mine i used a set of jump leads as clamps and left them on there for about 10 hours. I didnt drive the car for about 24 hours though just to make sure that it had set right.

I assume so, I dont recall of anyone doing it but i'm sure It can be done, if you make the effort, you'll just need to make sure to cut it so the rear door's can open!!!
