Hello,

My 2.0 si has had the EGR removed. Should the sensor on the bulkhead
the that vacuum hose used to got to be blanked or unplugged?

Also the is another sensor(or something) near the expansion tank which
also had vacuum hoses going to it to do with the EGR system. Should this
be unpluged/blanked etc?

The reason I ask is because I am having some idle issues and hope this may
be the cause.

If anyone can help it would be much appriciated.

Thanks

Emlyn

the pipe that come from the egr should be blocked but the pipe going from the sensor to the manifold should still be attached and the sensor should be connected coz its suppost to take some measurements of some thing lol

whats wrong with the idleing because it could be the idle speed control valve thats at fault

sensor is to do with the fuel vapour system (carbon box). needs to be plugged in and has vacuum to the inlet manifold

goaty- cheers mate, mine also seems to have a blue plastic insert
half way along the hose to the manifold, it looks to be some sort
of thing to restrict air flow as it has a very small hole inside it.

should i take it out or does it need to be there?

many thanks

Emlyn
