I have a 1.4Si an everytime i come of the accelarator it kinda chugs a bit like as if there aint enough fuel goin thro but as soon as i press the accelarator it stops doin this.

Someone said to me it was engine mounts or something along them lines an i thought maybe it just needs a really good service as aint been done in awhile.

Anyone know anything else wot it may be?

what are the revs like... it should settle down to idle at about 850rpm

id reccomend a good service

and try cleaning of your TPS (throttle position sensor) and ISCV (idle speed control valve)

does it have a maf?

if so it might be that

( might be wrong tho )

Possible fuel filer? Try that too. I'd just get the car serviced first, even if it doesn't sort out the problem, at least you know it's sorted in relation to servicing
