Hi, just wondered if anyone has ever any problems similar to what i have with my alarm system, about 18 months ago i had a cobra alarm system fitted by a mate of a mate,up until now it has been fine,went down a slip road doing about 50mph and the engine totally cut out on me no power what so ever with the battery and oil light both showing,called the RAC out and after 20 mins of checking certain components and realised their was no fuel delivery he was 99% it was because my alarm system had interferred with my fuel delivery. When i had the alarm put in i was told if someone breaks in and drives off after 30 secs the fuel pump is cut to stop the travelling anywhere! has anyone else had the same problem with alarms? its now in a garage waiting for the alarm feature to be disabled and wiring sorted out so it can be up and running again.
