Driving out of the car park earlier (Fiesta Mk5)... and as I was going over the speed bumps (slowly... not 40mph lol)... there was a terrible "knocking" sound coming from the front nearside of my car.

I got out to take a look... when I shake the car... it makes no sound at all... but when I go over a bump (mainly as the car is going down) I hear the knocking sound. (just from the one side)

Does anyone have any idea what the sound could be?

It recently went through an MOT, and on the advisory list they said "front suspension arm rubber bushes are deteriorated"

Would the bushes have anything to do with the knocking sound? Or could it be something else?

yer where the rubber is fu*ked it will be knocking on the arm,same as wen the rubber goes in wishbones it knocks and pulls to the side :)
